I mean…need I say more?! Haha.
I get some crazy ideas sometimes. And I never began writing poetry with the intention of designing and publishing a book.

Each morning, I’d sit out front with my coffee, contemplating the moment upon other things, and soon, words began to materialize from my consciousness. It eventually turned into a daily habit, and I filled up a couple notebooks. I picked out my favorites and designed each individual page, giving each entry its own style and energy.

Sometimes I even surprised myself with what I wrote. Sometimes the words flowed out of me like a flooding river, and sometimes I was verbally constipated and unable to produce so much as a line. My poems came to reflect parts of me in new ways I never would have realized, and it opened up something within me. That’s why it excites me to share an intimate and vulnerable part of myself with you.
